Hanis Hussey was born and raised in Singapore before leaving at the age of 16 to walk the runways of Paris, Milan and Tokyo for the world's top Haute Couture designers. She eventually returned home and started her own modeling agency, met her husband Steve and raised their 3 kids in Singapore

Hanis and I met shortly after his job moved them to move to the US and they landed in the same Dallas suburb where I had recently repatriated after 4 years in Germany. We immediately connected as both of our moves were in support of our husbands careers--and both of us were moms starting our lives over as empty nesters.
