After six eventful weeks, Elizabeth's time in Kent is coming to an end - but not without a final visit to Rosings. Lady Catherine's conversation is a good distraction for Elizabeth, whose mind is still full of her letter. At last, after a parting speech from Mr. Collins, the time finally comes to depart for London to meet the Gardiners and Jane. While Maria has much to tell, Elizabeth has much to conceal.
