    Sep 30 2025

Join Pastor Brady as he concludes our sermon series "Battle Plan for Prayer" with a message entitled "A Prayer of Repentance". All Scripture verses are taken from the New International Version ©Zondervan publishing

    A Prayer of Repentance

Series Title: Battle Plan For Prayer

Main Idea: God doesn’t want performance—He wants a broken and contrite heart.

    Psalm 51:1-2

"Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin!"

Sin is not just a mistake; it needs to be blotted out, washed, and cleansed.

    Psalm 51:3

"For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me..."

    Psalm 51:7

“Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”

He prays not only to be forgiven but to be transformed:

    · Joy restored (v.8)

    · A clean heart (v.10)

    · A steadfast spirit (v.10)

    · God’s presence not removed (v.11)

    · A willing spirit (v.12)

    Psalm 51:13

"Then I will teach transgressors your ways so that sinners will turn back to you”

    Psalm 51:17

"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."

Personal repentance leads to communal revival.

True worship flows from a heart made right.

The Journey to an Abundant Prayer Life

    Ephesians 3:20 KJV

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

    Ephesians 3:20 KJV

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height.

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

    1. Salvation

    Christ = Love

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

    Romans 1:24-25 NIV

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator

The Love of God knows no boundaries…

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height.

The Love of God knows no boundaries…

And it doesn’t make sense to the world

    18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge

    1. Holy Spirit fullness

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

    16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

    What Cause?

You are strengthened with might by His Spirit

    16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

    1. Boldness

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Holy Spirit - Boldness - Confidence

    Hebrews 4:16 NKJV

16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

    Ephesians 3:20 KJV

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

    Exceedingly = Quantitative - Abundantly = Quality

    Ephesians 3:20 KJV

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

    Sep 1 2025

God breathing into our lives.. The breath of God gives live, revives the dead, and

    sends us forward, unSTUCK ….

    Sermon Notes

    When God Breathes

    Series: unSTUCK

The Breath of God Gives Life

    1. "Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his

nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature." Genesis 2:7 NIV

Don’t be ashamed of your dry places. God specializes in breathing life into the dry

    and lifeless.

    2. The Breath of God Revives the Dead

    Ezekiel 37:1-14 (NIV)

“The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of

the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back

and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley,

bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said,

“Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones

and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the

Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will

come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover

you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will

know that I am the Lord.’”So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I wasprophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone

to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them,

    but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath;

prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come,

breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’”So I

prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and

stood up on their feet—a vast army. Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones

    are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone;

we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the

Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up

from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will

know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I

will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land.

Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares

    the Lord.’”

The bones rattled—but it wasn’t until the breath of God came that they truly lived.

    3. The Breath of God Sends Us Forward

    John 20:21-22 (NIV)

"Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I

am sending you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,

    ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.’"

The breath of God is not just for revival—it’s for release. He breathes into you so

    He can send you out.

When the wind of God blows, the church moves from survival mode to revival

    mode.

    Exodus 14:10-16 NIV

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.”

Freedom isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.

The enemy won’t tell you that God is working behind the scenes.

Where you are is not where you are staying.

Common reasons we get spiritually stuck:

    · Unforgiveness – Matthew 6:14–15

    · Comfort zones – Luke 9:23

    · Fear of failure – 2 Timothy 1:7

    · Lack of direction – Proverbs 3:5–6

    · Disobedience or unrepented sin – Psalm 32:3–5

What’s keeping you from moving forward in faith?

Step 1: Surrender – Admit you're stuck and give it to God (Psalm 40:1–3 – “He lifted me out of the slimy pit…”)

Step 2: Listen for direction – Seek God’s Word, wise counsel, and prayer (Isaiah 30:21 – “This is the way; walk in it.”)

Step 3: Take the next step – Even if it’s small (James 2:17 – "Faith without action is dead.")

Sometimes “unstuck” means simply obeying the last thing God told you.

    Ways to get unSTUCK

    · Daily time in God’s Word and prayer

    · Find community – Join a small group or accountability partner/Discipleship

    · Set spiritual goals – (e.g., share your faith, serve, forgive, tithe)

    · Celebrate progress – Look back and thank God for each step

Faith is often the first step to freedom.

  • The Church Is A Family
    Aug 3 2025

Join Pastor Brady as he wraps up our series on Thessalonians!

    2 Thessalonians 3:1-5 (NIV)

“As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was

with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he

will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we

command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.”

    1. Pray Continually

    - Prayer breaks through discord and discontent in our lives.

    - Prayer fuels the advance of the gospel.

    - Prayer also protects from evil people.

    2 Thessalonians 3:6-12 (NIV)

“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and

sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not

live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know

how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with

you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we

worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to

any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but

in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were

with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not

    eat.” We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy;

they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus

Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat.”

    2. A warning against idleness

    - Christian life is not a lazy life.

    - “If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.” (v. 10)

    2 Thessalonians 3:13-16 (NIV)

“And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is

good. Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this

letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed. Yet do

not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow

believer. Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times

and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”

    3. Encouragement

    - The Church is a family, AND GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY.
