  • S6 EP4: FREEDOM in Texas // Pray for Human Trafficking
    Feb 25 2026

In this powerful prayer-centered episode, Ruth Paton Willett, Prayer Coordinator for Freedom Challenge, invites us to respond to the issue of human trafficking God’s way — through worship, prayer, and obedient action.

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 20, Ruth reminds us that while the battle against injustice is real, the battle belongs to the Lord. As women across Texas prepare to walk, pray, and raise awareness through Freedom Challenge, this episode calls listeners to “gaze on God and glance at the battle,” trusting Him to fight while we take faithful steps forward.

    Together, we pray for:

    • The state of Texas to become a place of peace on every side
    • Victims of trafficking to find safety, healing, and restoration
    • Hearts of traffickers to be transformed
    • Churches and communities to wake up to God’s call to justice
    • Strength and endurance for those working on the front lines

Whether you are hiking, praying, giving, or simply learning how to respond, this episode will encourage you to stand firm, worship boldly, and trust God to bring freedom where darkness once ruled.

  • S6 EP3: Intercede for the Vulnerable: A Prayer for Thailand Mission Trip
    Feb 9 2026

In this prayer-focused episode, we invite you into a sacred space of intercession for Thailand—specifically Pattaya, often known as the unofficial sex tourism capital of the world.

Ruth and Alyse, Freedom Challenge team members leading our mission trip to Thailand, reflect on the realities facing women, men, and children in vulnerable situations, especially in the aftermath of COVID and the increased desperation fueling exploitation.

This episode is not about information alone—it is an invitation to cry out. To groan. To intercede. To see people not as labels, but as sons and daughters deeply loved by God.

    Together, we pray for:

    • Women exploited in the sex industry
    • Men caught in cycles of brokenness and demand
    • A Freedom Challenge team of nine women preparing to travel to Thailand to help serve Tamar Center, a project we support
    • Organizations like Tamar Center working faithfully on the ground

We talk honestly about anger, grief, forgiveness, and justice—and how God invites us to pray with His heart and His authority.

As you listen, we encourage you to pause, pray, worship, and join us in standing in the gap.

  • S6 EP2: The Global Reality of Human Trafficking
    Jan 21 2026

In this powerful episode of the Freedom Challenge Online Podcast, host Tracy Daugherty sits down with Jessica Whittle, Director of Freedom Challenge Africa, to confront the global case of human trafficking — a crisis impacting nearly 50 million worldwide.

Together, they break down what trafficking truly looks like today: sexual exploitation, forced labor, domestic servitude, child marriage, organ harvesting, online exploitation, and the rise of scam centers. They talk openly about the vulnerabilities traffickers target — poverty, displacement, age, lack of opportunity — and the spiritual darkness driving this brutal industry.

But woven through the heaviness is deep hope.

Tracy and Jessica share the story of how Freedom Challenge began, the four pillars that shape the work (Prevent, Develop, Rescue, Restore), and how OM projects around the world are changing lives — from TrafficWise trainings in Africa to safe houses and long‑term restoration programs globally.

    This conversation reminds every listener:
You cannot fix 50 million… but you can move toward one.
And when women pray, give, go, and challenge themselves on behalf of others, God multiplies it.

They also share exciting ways to get involved:
    • The upcoming virtual global prayer event on February 8
    • Freedom Challenge USA and Africa 2026 challenges
    • Opportunities for short‑ and long‑term mission work

If you want to understand the depth of the issue AND the depth of God’s response through His people, this episode is for you.
