Now that this year's election is over, with the focus on Proposition 50, all eyes in California are turning to the 2026 Governor's Race. San Francisco Chinatown has long been considered an Internet desert. Old buildings and poor infrastructure means it’s hard to connect. But now, city leaders say they’re rolling out a plan that blankets most of the neighborhood with free WiFi. With SNAP benefits still on hold for many families, some Bay Area cities are asking residents to help by donating essential items. The start of November typically offers a bit of reprieve for drivers and their wallets, but that's not be the case this year... Today, project managers from BART and the VTA updated the progress of the BART to Silicon Valley Project.
