  • AITA for refusing to listen to my husband about my chest? Bonus from Patreon
    Jan 7 2026

Happy New Year! We’re kind of taking a break and sharing a bonus episode from Patreon. This isn’t our typical episode format, I sit down with Jeremy, relationship coach and my husband of 20+ years, to chat about a story from the reddit subthread “AITA.” I read him this Reddit story where one redditor wants to know if she’s wrong to get the reduction of her dreams when her husband doesn’t want her to. That’s not all though, he seems supportive and encouraging and even asks to go to her doctor’s appointment with her but once there he launches a full betrayal and is anything but supportive.

Jeremy and I do relationship coaching together, meeting virtually with clients all around the world to support them in determining realistic goals that serve their relationship purpose and developing practical strategies for reaching those goals. This isn’t couples therapy or counseling, it’s getting down to the mundane, everyday life stuff that builds up or tears down every relationship. Want to meet with us just to talk and see how we could support you? We’ve got a no-obligation consult here, let’s do it.

  • Saddle up - The black bathing suit betrayal
    Dec 31 2025

Warning: pee before listening to this episode to avoid an unfortunate accident that would necessitate a change of undergarments.

A horse, the beach, a hot riding instructor, some tissue, and a black bathing suit. Ever try to impress someone with a rack that just… wasn’t there? Had that moment exposed and not at all how you might have hoped thanks to a black bathing suit and a phobia?

Even if you can’t relate, you’re going to want to hear this all-too-real story of teen cringe and then what comes later will really have you clutching your pearls.

I met Jan West in my front yard when she was there to show prospective buyers the house I rented. It was terrifying. Our landlord’s agent, Jan, was essentially there to sell our home out from under us. Instead, she helped us find a solid agent to represent us, helped us figure out how to buy our home ourselves, and when I told her I was thinking about starting a podcast all about chesty experiences because everyone has stories of life with a chest, she agreed, saying she had a story or two of her own. AND DID SHE EVER!

I’ve been dying to share her stories ever since! Jan joined me in the blanket fort to record a handful of her stories including one of her most embarrassing moments ever and that time she was arrested. Jan’s stories are just so great that we couldn’t fit them all in to one main feed episode and as good as this featured story is, the ones we have over in our Pateslandia are the kind of tale you expect from a crime drama or a side splitting TV comedy. You are not going to want to miss these. Just… even if you’ve had decent pelvic floor therapy, do yourself a favor and go to the bathroom first. Of course then I had to have Beth Woolsey come over again so we could discuss Jan’s story and I could quiz Beth on kitties and… well, it rhymes so you can probably guess the theme. We had to cut SO MUCH from this episode which means the extended ep is full of juicy titbits over in Patreon. You really don’t want to miss this extended ep. • Oh Booby, how dense can you be?
    Dec 18 2025

Beth is BACK! And my fellow former-cult-member friend and I are once again mixing our personal stories with chesty topics, and sharing more than a few laughs. In Boobs in the News, we’re focusing on World Dense Breasts Day, discussing what it means to have dense breasts (no relation to how smart you are) and the risks that come from having them. In Keeping Abreast we get really personal about the connection between postpartum depression and breastfeeding and nerd out over some scientific studies on the topic. And we finish this episode with a conversation about Beth’s realization that she still has gender bias when it comes to expectations about living with pain.

Once again, you’ll want to catch the full version of these conversations in the extended ep over in Patreon. Some bits of story and meaningful dialogue got chopped on the editing floor and they’re well worth the listen.
