For All People Part 2

In this Advent message, Pastor Elizabeth explores the final theme of the season — love — through the lens of the shepherds’ response to the birth of Jesus. Drawing from Luke 2:8–18 and scenes from The Chosen Christmas episode Holy Night, this message reminds us that Jesus’ coming was good news for all people, everywhere.
The shepherds didn’t just rush to see Jesus — they rushed to tell others. Their response reveals a powerful pattern that runs throughout Scripture: He came, and so we go. First to those nearest us, and then outward to the ends of the earth.
This message challenges us to rediscover agape love — sacrificial, self-giving love that moves us beyond comfort and into action — and to ask whether the Church today is still living with the same urgency and joy to share the good news.
As we prepare our hearts for Christmas and await Christ’s return, we are reminded that love doesn’t stay still.
Because He came… we go.
