Sometimes Jesus wants to draw out our faith and challenge us to reveal our dependence on Him. We also need to remember to look at our past to remember God's faithfulness to us.

Jesus gives us great insight into the difference between following the letter of the law through man-made rules and the danger it leads to. We must follow the spirit of the law and understand the heart of the One who made the law so we can be rooted in love and not rules.

Others may not agree with your decisions and transformation which can lead to contempt from those who are most familiar with you. Jesus Himself experienced this, so be encouraged in knowing your Lord and Savior understands this reality.

On today’s episode as we walk through Matthew 13:24-43, and see how Jesus makes it clear that we are going to experience those within the church who profess to be a ‘wheat’, but by their fruit, they were exposed to be only ‘weeds’. He helps us understand that we shouldn’t be surprised by this when we are surrounded by so many who claim to follow Jesus, and we can trust that it will be revealed in the end.
