We talked to Dr. Jeffrey Medeiros, Professor and Chair of the Department of Hematopathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, about his path to pathology, how did he ended up choosing hematopathology as a career, his mentors, what makes hematopathology special, two of his memorable cases, what makes applicants for fellowship stands out in his opinion and his advice for trainees.
