The Holy Bible is clear as to how we must be saved, why we are saved, who is saved, and what we are saved for. The world is full of confessors of the Christian faith. However, there must be certain character traits of our Christianity observed within and around us before we can truly claim to know the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Sadly, in this age this very essential character is missing in the higher number of professors of the Christian faith. But our Saviour and Lord made clear that unless we have the character, we are not His and cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

In this Gospel we read the testimony of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and being God Himself. He proved this fact by His teachings, power, life and ministry. There is no better place to learn of the Lord Jesus Christ and our relationship to Him than in this Gospel.

There is so much misleading in what is misrepresented before the world as Christianity today. The trend is increasing daily and the danger can have eternal damnation consequences for those misled by it. Most pulpits of this age are occupied and utilised by charlatans who have brought many shallow but spiritually devastating deliberately false teachings to their hearers.

They give false hope that is usually anchored on fantasies and financial generosity of their victims. The idea promoted is that God wants their followers rich, healthy and exuding prosperity! After many years of followership and financial draining, none of the empty promises are delivered, because they were never of the Lord, many followers leave the so-called 'church' and many even abandon any thought of Christianity. They were never given the true Gospel of Christ and as such had no interest in forsaking their sin or salvation.

Yet the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ that gives true liberation from sin and death is not lost. Some people are simply driven by greed and desperation into looking for the wrong Jesus and in the wrong places.

Most 'churches', and indeed their members have today deviated from the faith handed down by the Saviour and His trusted Apostles. For decades many men and women have risen proclaiming themselves to be servants of God; a collection of the downright crazy to the materially greedy, to the deceived. Their followers love them, with a view of the only Saviour and Lord as subordinate to their human leaders. As a result there are many terrible winds of teaching that are anything but what the Holy Bible says, but people believe their leaders have new revelations from God!

There are no new revelations, and the Lord Jesus Christ has NOT changed a letter of His written Word. What hurts the true believer who believes, trusts and obeys the written Word of God in this age, is that many professing Christians are headed for eternal damnation to hell, because of their love for their human leaders over and above their love for the only Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ.
