In Part 2 of the SONship Series, we study Romans 8:3–6 line upon line, uncovering the limitations of the law, the necessity of heart transformation, and the believer’s call to live governed by the Spirit rather than the flesh.

Paul reveals that while the law is holy, righteous, and good, it has limits — it can define sin and set a standard, but it cannot regenerate the heart or transform the mind. Jesus is the fulfillment of what the law could not accomplish. Through His sacrifice, sin was condemned in the flesh, making true sonship and inheritance possible for believers.

This teaching also explores how mindset determines spiritual direction. A carnal mind partners with the flesh and produces death, while a Spirit-led mind produces life, peace, and kingdom authority. What governs your mind will ultimately reveal your master.
