What does the reality of the Kingdom of God have to say about who is really safe in this world? Is it those who have engineered their own security or is there another, better way?

A lot of times people picture Jesus as sort of a passive, mild-manned guy who went around just telling people to "be nice". Nobody gets crucified by preaching "be nice." Today we look at the courage of Jesus as he faces opposition to the political forces of his time.

What is the gospel that Jesus preached? It sounds like a simple question. But a lot of people in churches today actually don’t give the same answer that the Bible does. We launch this new series, If Jesus Ran the World, by taking a look at that question.

We wrap up the journey out of Egypt and prepare to enter the Promised Land as Moses presents his final message to the Israelites in the book of Deuteronomy. But why more law? And what does that have to do with us today?

The prevailing power of God gets released through prayer. So how do we become people of prayer? Moses' experience praying during the battle with the Amalekites gives us some steps we can take.

When we understand where God wants to live, we learn about His character. With the Israelites, God designed his Tabernacle, his house, as a physical object to help them remember and understand His will, and to learn about how people could dwell with God.

The objects in the Tabernacle were to remind them that they were to trust, worship and obey God. We can now enter the most holy place, because when Jesus died on the cross, the veil was torn and now we can dwell with Him anytime and anyplace.
