  • Finally, a movie podcast that takes place in a car! Pete and Trevor are movie fans with nothing better to do. Come along with us on our drive to and from the cinema. On the drive there, we’ll be discussing general background on the movie and talk about our expectations. On the drive back again, you will hear spoiler talk about our first impressions of the movie having just exited the theatre. Will we see a “stone-cold masterpiece”?     Pete and Trevor (and special guests Justin and Anthony) went to see the Ryan Coogler original vampire period piece Sinners in glorious 70mm IMAX.


    Written and director by Coogler (his best effort to date), Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as the “Smokestack Twins”, with supporting performances by Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and Delroy Lindo. The movie was scored by Ludwig Göransson, and filmed by Autumn Durald Arkapaw, in what is one of the best sounding and looking movies of the decade.


    Listen for our immediate reactions after leaving the theatre, including our summary of some technical problems with the film reel at the Vaughan Cineplex in Toronto.
