She’s determined to surgically mend the cracks before they become a rupture, because she sees the bigger picture—Appalachia is full of threats that don’t care who wins an argument.

The story launches from the end of the Steel Dawn quest with a crucial divergence, where one decision becomes a pressure point for everything that follows. Trust is tested, loyalties tighten or break, and the line between leadership and control turns razor-thin. In a region where survival rewards brutality and punishes hesitation, Ophelia finds herself walking the most dangerous battlefield of all: the one inside a fractured family of steel—trying to keep it standing long enough to face what’s coming.
