Finding Jesus in Deuteronomy

1. Read Deuteronomy 18:15–19. How does this “prophet like Moses” point to Jesus? How is Jesus like Moses, and how is He greater than Moses?
2. Read Deuteronomy 32:3–4 and 1 Corinthians 10:1–4. What does it mean that God (and Christ) is called “the Rock”? How has Jesus been a “rock” in your own life?
3. Look at the cities of refuge in Deuteronomy 19. In what ways do these cities picture Jesus as our refuge and safe place from judgment?
