  • Following the disastrous release of The Spirits Within, the developers decided to make the second CGI movie in the Final Fantasy series stick more closely to the videogames. Advent Children is a sequel to Final Fantasy VII and picks up with our hero Cloud following the events of that blockbuster game. A strange sickness called Geostigma is spreading throughout Midgar, the cause uncertain. As Cloud and his friends try to find a solution they come into conflict with a trio of villains who seek to resurrect Cloud's ultimate foe.
