Fill My Cup

This past Sunday at New Image Church, our pastors gathered for an honest roundtable conversation around the prayer, “Fill my cup.” Together, they reflected on what it means to be truly filled by God—not just productive for Him. They shared how emptiness often shows up quietly through exhaustion, irritability, or striving, and how easy it is to confuse busyness in ministry with spiritual fullness.

The discussion highlighted the dangers of leading from an empty cup and the importance of spiritual practices that actually renew the soul, not just help us push through. Our pastors emphasized guarding identity in Christ amid constant expectations, inviting trusted voices to speak truth when warning signs appear, and leading others toward fullness without burdening them with guilt or burnout.

The conversation closed with encouragement for weary leaders: your value is not measured by output, God still fills empty cups, and you don’t have to walk through seasons of dryness alone.
