* Do you wonder where to start when it comes to decorating your house?
* Are you frustrated every time you walk into your house because you haven’t taken any action on decor?

Friend, I’ve been there...

This podcast inspires REAL moms with REAL homes and REAL budgets to transform their houses into homes they love. You will learn affordable and practical decorating tips, tricks, DIY tutorials, and more. I teach home owners how break through the barrier of what’s keeping them stuck in their home design, while also encouraging them to tell their home’s story from within by living a life of intention with the people they share their home with. My mission is to equip you with all the how-tos so you can decorate a home you love walking in to; a home you are confident in, that feels cozy and comfortable; a home that feels cohesive and put together.

Hey, I’m Dani - a former First Grade teacher turned home decorator. Going from a dual income to a single income so I could stay home with my babies meant budget - like Ramen eating, Goodwill shopping budget and I learned a few things along the way: how to bring BIG style to your home without breaking the bank. And I’ve put it all together in this podcast so you know where to start, what to buy and where to hang it!

If you’re ready to break free from the Pinterest perfect trap and decorate your home with style by making confident decisions (all without taking out a second mortgage) - this podcast is for you!

So put down that sledgehammer, grab your paintbrush and let’s get started!

  • 386 // How to FINALLY get organized (and let go of what’s holding you back) with special guest, Tracy Hoth
    Apr 17 2026

If you’ve ever looked around your home and thought, “Where do I even start?”—this episode is going to give you a clear, doable plan.

Today, I’m joined by Tracy Hoth, host of The Organized Coach Podcast, and she’s walking us through her simple but powerful SPACE framework for getting your home in order.

Because decluttering and organizing aren’t just about bins and baskets—they’re about how you think about your things.

As a life coach, Tracy brings a fresh perspective to the process—helping you understand why you hold onto certain items, how to release what’s no longer serving you, and how to create a home that actually supports your life today.

✨ Inside This Episode, We Cover:
    • The SPACE method for decluttering and organizing your home:

      • S – Sort: Separating what you have so you can see clearly

      • P – Purge: Letting go of what no longer fits your life

      • A – Arrange: Creating simple, functional systems

      • C – Contain: Giving everything a defined place

      • E – Energize: Making your space feel good to live in

    • Why traditional organizing advice often doesn’t stick

    • How your mindset impacts what you keep (and what you don’t)

    • The emotional side of decluttering—and how to move through it

    • Practical ways to make progress without feeling overwhelmed

    • How to create systems that actually last

    ✨ Why This Matters

Decluttering and organizing aren’t just about having a tidy home—they’re about creating a space that reflects your life, supports your routines, and feels good to be in.

And when you combine decluttering, organizing, and decorating together?

That’s when your home truly starts to feel like you.

  • 385 // Decluttering your home: Where to start (and why clutter is stressing you out) with Emily McDermott
    Apr 10 2026

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed just looking around your home…this episode is for you.

We’re kicking off a 3-part Spring Cleaning Series with the most important first step: decluttering.

Because before you organize or deep clean, you need to clear the excess. And if you’ve ever struggled to get started—or felt stuck halfway through—it’s not because you’re lazy or unmotivated.

There’s actually a reason clutter feels so heavy.

In this episode, I’m joined by guest expert Emily McDermott, and we’re diving into the science behind clutter—including how it can increase cortisol levels and contribute to stress, overwhelm, and decision fatigue.

But more importantly, we’re giving you a simple, realistic way to move forward.

✨ Inside This Episode, We Cover:
    • Why clutter impacts your mental load (and what’s happening in your brain)

    • Where to start when everything feels overwhelming

    • Practical, doable steps to begin decluttering your home

    • Common mistakes to avoid (that keep you stuck)

    • How to work through emotional clutter (the things that are hard to let go of)

    • What aspirational clutter is—and why it’s keeping you from a home that actually works for your life

    • How to make progress without needing hours of uninterrupted time

    ✨ Why This Matters

Decluttering isn’t just about getting rid of things—it’s about creating space.

Space to think clearly. Space to breathe. Space to actually enjoy your home again.

And when you start here, everything else—organizing, decorating, cleaning—becomes easier and more effective.

✨ What’s Next in the Series

This episode is part one of our Spring Cleaning Series:

    1. Decluttering (this episode)

    2. Organization (coming next)

    3. Cleaning hacks and tips

    4. JOIN The Spring Cleaning Challenge...starting Monday, April 13th

Make sure to follow along so you can move through each step with clarity and confidence.

If you’re feeling stuck—not just with clutter, but with how your home looks and functions as a whole—

A Decorating SOS Call is your next step.

Together, we’ll look at your space, identify what’s not working (from clutter to layout to design), and create a clear, step-by-step plan so you can move forward with confidence.

  • 384 // How to create a timeless, classic home without overspending (a look at the Ralph Lauren design style)
    Apr 3 2026

What makes a home feel timeless…elevated…and effortlessly pulled together?

In this episode, we’re breaking down the iconic Ralph Lauren design aesthetic—a look that has defined classic American interiors for decades.

Known for its rich layers, tailored details, and a sense of understated luxury, Ralph Lauren style blends American heritage with classic European influence, often incorporating subtle nods to equestrian and nautical design.

But here’s the best part: You don’t need a massive budget or a designer label to achieve this look in your own home.

In this episode, I’ll show you exactly how to recreate this aesthetic using thoughtful, intentional design choices—so your home feels cohesive, grounded, and timeless (not trendy or overdone).

✨ Inside This Episode, We Cover:
    • What defines the Ralph Lauren design aesthetic (and why it works)

    • How to create a timeless, classic home that won’t go out of style

    • The signature color palettes that ground this look (think rich neutrals, deep blues, warm woods)

    • How to layer textures and materials for depth and sophistication

    • The role of pattern (and how to mix it without overwhelm)

    • Key furniture styles that feel tailored and substantial

    • How to use lighting to add warmth and character

    • Window treatments that elevate the entire room

    • Subtle ways to incorporate equestrian and nautical elements without feeling theme-y

Ready to Bring This Look Into Your Home?

If you love this aesthetic but aren’t sure how to translate it into your own space—what to keep, what to change, or where to start—

A Decorating SOS Call is your next step.

Together, we’ll take your ideas (whether it’s Ralph Lauren-inspired or something else entirely) and turn them into a clear, step-by-step plan for your home—so you can create a space that feels cohesive, timeless, and truly you.
