Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode, meet Nicola Galombik and Maryana Iskander, Co-founders of Harambee, a South African youth employment accelerator.
Harambee uses scalable technology and on-the-ground community organizing to help more young people hungry for work to overcome an all-too-common challenge and painful source of systemic inequality in South Africa: simply finding a job. Harambee makes the youth employment marketplace work better by helping young people with the skills and life habits that bridge the painful gap between the youth education and employment systems.
Nicola and Maryana’s work inspires Service Academy’s Ryan and Thomas to focus on efforts to make existing systems work better — not try to reinvent them.
