    Oct 5 2025

Reach out to Cody and Buhler to tell them what's up!

We may have learned a thing or two this weekend in college football.

On today's episode of False Start, John Buhler (Lead Writer, FanSided) and Cody Williams (Content Director, FanSided.com) reacted to an incredible Week 6 slate.

Together, they recognized how good Alabama and Miami might be, that Georgia is still a very strong football, and that Brendan Sorsby might be the best quarterback the Big 12 has to offer.

From there, they were mightily impressed by Texas A&M and Texas Tech, while Texas is starting to do next to nothing for that.

After that, they crossed a few teams off from the playoff picture, as well as mentally moved on from a few head coaches.

To finish up the show, the guys were not ready to bury Vanderbilt just yet, remove Iowa State from the Big 12 equation, all before Buhler and Cody disagreed on how to assess Oklahoma.
