  • In the book of Daniel, we learn about a man whose faithfulness to God sets an incredible example for us. Despite the decree that praying to anyone other than King Darius would result in being thrown into the den of lions, Daniel continued his practice of praying three times a day. His faith was unshaken by the dangers posed to him. Daniel 6:10-22 demonstrates that even in the face of deadly threats, maintaining a steadfast faith and prayer life can bring about divine intervention. When Daniel was thrown into the den, God sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions, proving that His power is greater than any earthly threat.
