  • Shadows Pointing to the Savior
    Aug 17 2025
In Hebrews 9, we are reminded that the Old Testament Tabernacle was never the final answer but a shadow pointing forward to Christ. Every part—the candlestick, the table of showbread, the veil, the incense, and the ark—pictured the glory and work of Jesus, the true and greater sanctuary. Unlike the repeated sacrifices of the old covenant, Christ entered once for all into the heavenly sanctuary by His own blood to provide eternal redemption. This message, Shadows Pointing to the Savior, calls us to see how the shadows of the Tabernacle are fulfilled in Him, and to draw near with boldness to God through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

  • Grace to Continue
    Aug 10 2025
In this message, Grace to Continue, we return to our study in Hebrews and discover the life-changing promises of the New Covenant through Jesus Christ, our perfect High Priest. Unlike the temporary and flawed priesthood of the Old Testament, Jesus offers a permanent, personal, and powerful ministry—writing His law on our hearts, transforming our desires, drawing us into an unbreakable relationship, giving us true belonging, and granting complete forgiveness. These “I Will” promises are not based on our effort, but on God’s unfailing grace, enabling us to walk with Him daily. The same grace that saved you is the same grace that keeps you—because the New Covenant is not about you holding on to God, but about God holding on to you.

  • Through Faith or Fear
    Aug 10 2025
In this message from Numbers 13–14, we explore the truth of Lamentations 3:51 — “Mine eye affecteth mine heart” — and how what we focus on shapes our faith or feeds our fear. Through the examples of Eve, Lot, Achan, David, Jesus, Stephen, and the twelve spies, we see that the difference between Joshua and Caleb’s faith and the other spies’ fear wasn’t what they saw, but how they saw it. Faith and fear are both like magnifying glasses: one enlarges the problem, the other magnifies God. This sermon challenges us to take our eyes off the giants and fix them on the greatness of God, knowing that faith doesn’t deny reality — it redefines it in light of God’s promises, and the perspective we choose today will determine the potential we step into tomorrow.

  • No Replacement Needed
    Jul 27 2025
In this message from Hebrews 7, “No Replacement Needed,” we’re reminded that Jesus didn’t come to improve the old system of priests, sacrifices, and laws—He came to replace it with something eternal and perfect. The Levitical priesthood pointed to our need for a greater Mediator, and Jesus is that perfect, sinless, and everlasting High Priest. You don’t need Jesus plus tradition, effort, or ritual—just Jesus. Because of Him, the veil is torn, the way is open, and you are invited to draw near with full assurance. Let go of guilt and works-based thinking, and take hold of the better hope we have in Christ.
