FBI: Temple attack a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community

The man who drove his truck into Temple Israel was fatally shot by security has been identified by federal officials as 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a naturalized citizen born in Lebanon who lived in Dearborn Heights. No staff, teachers or children were injured during the attack. Jennifer Runyan is the FBI Special agent in charge at the Detroit field office and is leading the investigation.
