An ancient artifact that can only be described as a giant door, inset into the ocean floor. It became known as the Vault. A gigantic enigma, buried and forgotten...nineteen thousand feet down. Just the kind of thing that would interest the galaxy's most powerful corporation, Maas-Dorian. To study the artifact, the company built a massive, self-contained, secret laboratory base surrounding it. That base is named Fathom. It's objective: unlock the secrets of the artifact and discover what it holds.​ A group of scientists, engineers, and workers led by Dr. Eva Graff and Commander Joe Freeman have been working on that task for almost a year, but with little to show for it. The Vault has yet to give up its secrets, and their employers are beginning to lose patience. Add to that, some on the base say they hear...voices. Inside the signal the Vault is broadcasting. Hundreds of them. Thousands. Whispering and chittering of a desire to be let out... Disappointed

Drawn out scenes, story slow, had to stop after a couple episodes. Commercials on Audible was annoying too

push of LGBTQ in the first 5 minutes

Be aware, includes LGBTQ propaganda. Too bad of the high production quality, but they cannot help it, pushing LGBTQ in the first 5 minutes, with a lesbian couple and kids. I gave it a try for 30 minutes, but it's not worth it.
Plus, I get ads every 20 minutes of listening.

Great Sci-fi Story!

I’m hooked! The story is intense; I don’t find myself getting distracted and needing to “rewind” to pick up things I missed like I do with some other books and podcasts.

Starting out good

Ads are to frequent to enjoy

I guess the performance was alright.
The ads are too frequent to the point of being unbearable. It’s impossible to get immersed into the world they are trying to build every time I was almost able to get into it it’s time for turbo tax or something about cakes and new York being why you rock.

Ads should be placed at the beginning or end of pods like this one. I listen at work and it is disruptive when I feel forced to stop what I am doing to skip two or three ads.

I didn’t make it past the Walmart Ad, 2 minutes in.

I didn’t think my subscription to Prime/ and premium Audible would include 60% ads.

Ads to listen to amateur fiction.
…definitely lost me at Walmart ads of all possibilities. Ugh.

Holy cr@p there's commercials!!!! I hate commercials normally. But I will go out of my way to not but any rubbish I've been force fed trying to get through the first chapter.
