F1: 4th Annual Stirling Awards

With Formula 1 officially in hibernation, the team return for the final episode of 2025 — the 4th Annual Stirling Awards!

Across the season, we’ve handed out our Top 5 drivers after every race. Now it’s time to reveal who finished number one for 2025.

As we run through the full driver rankings, we break down the rookie class and who impressed us most, lament the stunning fall from grace of a once-elite driver who didn’t even crack our Top 10, and dissect the wildly contrasting seasons of Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz. When it comes to our Top 3, things get heated — we vigorously debate the order, fail to reach consensus… even though the votes themselves are crystal clear.
