Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬

“If favor is shown to the wicked, he does not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly and does not see the majesty of the Lord.”‬

THE CHILDREN OF AARON AND THE LEVITES HAD BEEN GIVEN SPECIAL FAVORS BY GOD TO BE LEADERS IN WORSHIP. YET THE BIBLE RECORDS MANY INSTANCES OF ABUSE OF OFFICE.

Hebrews 5:4

And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

Ezra 10:18-19

And among the sons of the priests there were found that had taken strange wives: namely, of the sons of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah. 19And they gave their hands that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their trespass.

Galatians 6:1-2

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Ezra 10:5-6

James 5:19-20

IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE A LEADER IN WORSHIP AND UNCONVERTED‼️

1 Samuel 2:12

“Now Eli was very old, and he kept hearing all that his sons were doing to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who were serving at the entrance to the tent of meeting.”

Romans 2:20-24
