Episode 49: Slice of the Paranormal has a knack for finding where the boos and the booze walk hand in hand, and few places fit that description better than Bube’s Brewery in Mount Joy Pennsylvania. This haunted brewery is dripping with history, dating back to the mid 1800s, and is known for its paranormal activity. Bartenders have reported objects being thrown across the room, and deep below, the haunted catacombs are said to connect to the natural Mount Joy Caverns under the town. Legends claim the mysterious White Hermit once haunted these caverns and may still roam the catacombs today. Paranormal reports also tell of the Bube family ghosts—Alois, Pauline, and Henry—seen wandering the halls and even sitting in the famous Peacock Room. We had the rare chance to explore the entire Bube’s Brewery site at our leisure, from the elegant historic rooms above to the cold twisting catacombs below. And of course, no Slice of the Paranormal adventure is complete without sampling local pizza.
