Exonerated: Leon Benson, Spent 25 Years Behind Bars For A Murder He Didn't Commit

Exoneree Leon Benson spent 25 years behind bars for a murder he did not commit in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1998. He was in solitary confinement for 10 years straight. The police suppressed evidence that showed another man was the killer in the case. He was exonerated March 9, 2023.
