This is not a sensational ghost story, but a gentle, evidence-led exploration of continuity of what may follow physical death—offering both reassurance for the bereaved and thoughtful material for sceptics.I’m Jeremy Spillane, married to Caroline for 42 years, with five children and six grandchildren. We live in East Yorkshire, England. I’ve never written a book before – there was never anything that gripped me enough to make me embark on the massive amount of hard work that writing a book entails.

At school, I got a grade A in my English language ‘O’ level and a B in English Literature. By my very early sixties, I accepted that my life was pretty ordinary and simple, nothing Earth-shattering was ever going to happen to me…then Caroline’s parents died.
Joan died first, then a few years later, Roger.
