    Eurovision Winner 2024 Nemo winning the contest for Switzerland The Grand Final of the Eurovison Song Contest 2024 was staged in the Swedish City of Malmoe on Saturday, 11 May 2024 from the Malmoe Arena with 37 countries competing via two Semi Finals and 25 countries that made it to the Grand Final. The Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is Nemo for Switzerland with the song "The Code". On the show this week listen back to an interview the Radio International Team did with the winning act prior his victory. Dose 4 of the PED Cure has on offer a couple of interviews with former Eurovision performers that actually came to Malmoe, Sweden and the Eurovision Song Contest to entertain the many Eurovision fans and journalists in the Euroclub and Eurovision Village. Rosa Linn represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Snap" which came 20th in the competition but actually won as the song went viral online after the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with having way more streams than the winning song. Salman met Rosa Linn at the London Eurovision PreParty and interviewed the young singer. JP had the pleasure to meet up with Tajci in Malmoe during the Eurovision Week to interview the singer who represented Yugoslavia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with the song "Hajde da ludujemo" coming 7th. Enjoy both interviews on the show this week and a special thanks go out to Stefan Eriksson enabling that interview with Tajci. Then there is an interview from the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with Tali who represented Luxemburg with the song "Fighter" coming 13th. This interview was conducted by Alain Forrotti, the Radio International radio colleague from Luxemburg prior to the contest. For Dose 3 of the PED Cure the Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet the Eurostars of the 2024 class of the Eurovision Song Contest and also previous Eurovision performers. This week listen to interviews with Eurovision Winner Carola who represented Sweden three times. It was in 1983 with the song "Fraemling" ("Stranger") coming third, then in 1991 she won the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the song "Captured by a love storm" and then she tried again reaching 5th place with the song "Invincible" in 2006. Carola was closing the Turquoise Carpet at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmoe. Further artists the Team of Radio International had the pleasure of chatting with is Kaleen from Austria coming 24th with the song "We will rave". Bessa represented Albania with "Titan" (Number 15 in Semi Final 2 ). Former Eurovision artists also came to perform at the Euroclub or the Eurovision PreParties in London and Madrid. Radio International had the pleasure to once again meet Dr. Anna Bergendahl at the Madrid PreParty in April 2024. This week JP will reveal the results of the Radio International Jury for Semi Final 2 and the Grand Final playing the songs in the order of least points to top score. Eurovision Spotlight - When Malmö hosted the Eurovsion Song Contest: Sweden has now equalized its victories with Ireland having won the Eurovision Song Contest seven times. Sweden's city Malmö hosted the Eurovision Song Contest twice and about a third time is to come. Eurovision 1992 came from the Malmö Isstadion and 2013 the venue was the same as in 2024 - the Malmö Arena. It is also the final edition of Radio International before JP and the team is heading out to Malmoe. This week on the show meet some more of the Eurostars 2024 you will also see on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Salman, Marc and JP have met many of the acts at the pre-parties in Madrid, London and Amsterdam. Salman met Marvin at the London PreParty this year for a chat what exactly his job is about. Also on the show this week there is also an interview with Melina Borglowe from Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2024 who performed the song "Min melodi" in Heat 1. The Voting Results are in - read on! Eurovision Song Contest 2024 - Semi Final 1 - Voting Results of the Radio International Jury: Over the last weeks 25 jury members cast their votes for the songs of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and the results are in. This week JP will reveal the results of the Radio International Jury for Semi Final 1 playing the songs in the order of least points to top score. Next week the show will come from Malmö and JP will be revealing then the results of Semi Final 2 and the Top 6 of the Grand Finalists (Big 5 and host country Sweden) and also JP will reveal the entire Top 37 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Let's see how right the Radio International Jury is, compared to the results that are coming after the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Eurovision Spotlight - When Malmö hosted the Eurovsion Song Contest: Sweden has now equalized its victories with Ireland having won the Eurovision Song Contest seven times. Sweden's city Malmö hosted the Eurovision Song Contest twice and about a third time is to come. Eurovision 1992 came from the Malmö Isstadion and 2013 the venue was the same as in 2024 - the Malmö Arena. Alasdair Rendall will be joining JP in the studio for the special Eurovision Spotlight when Malmö hosted Eurovision looking back at some of the musical highlight from the two years.
