You'd think that Andy, being an expert in these things, would lead the convo, but he was drinking too much La Croix and couldn't be bothered to be assertive. Ken took the initiative and decided to be topical, factual, and (oddly) relatable, as he tells the story of how he ducked being put on a suck-n-blow 9000 when he got the Shanghai sniffles.
