Episode 844: Off Grid Living Festival 2025 - Scott chats with Kirsty from Permaculture Hawkesbury Valley

Kirsty Bertè started up Permaculture Hawkesbury Valley Inc to help her community learn more about food growing, create self-sufficient food systems and to address food security. She was fascinated by age-old methods such as fermentation and preserving and is super keen to share these methods with attendees at this year's Off Grid Living Festival.

For the second year in a row, Chiltern is hosting the Off Grid Living Festival. It's being held at Chiltern Racecourse, this year on Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13.

With engaging workshops on everything from renewable energy and technology to hands-on demonstrations of permaculture techniques and survival skills, this 2 day event is inspiring people to think more sustainably and consider what changes they could make for a better future.
