Episode 8: Legal Rights

Good Morning my name is Thulane  In context this morning I wish to talk about Legal Rights which Christ nailed on the cross on our behalf. Let’s read together from the book Colossians 2:14-15 [14]having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. [15]And having disarmed the powers and principalities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Jesus Christ's Death dealt with covenantal practices  that kept us in bondage and empowered our adversary to stand against us and condemn us however Jesus Christ has taken it away by nailing it on the cross  and he has disarmed the powers and principalities and Christ made public spectacle of their dominance and influence over us by the power of the Cross. Our acceptance of Christ as our Lord and Savior  means we have been co-crucified with him on the cross that means  which means our indebtedness to our adversary has been nullified by the death and resurrection of Christ. Let us pray father we come before your throne of grace, grateful for making your son Jesus Christ our sin offering on the cross in order for our sins to be forgiven in Jesus Christ name we pray amen.
