Once again, it’s time to pack up the Ope, A Ghost van and set out on another haunted road trip. This time, we’re heading to Atlanta, Georgia—but some roads are better left untraveled. Our stops in the ATL begin at the site of the deadliest hotel fire in American history where some victims remain, even if history has forgotten. We’ll wander through a park that may not be officially haunted, but it will definitely creep you out. Next, we’ll make our way to a historic mansion on Peachtree Street, where former residents—long since deceased—are said to send visitors fleeing. And what’s a haunted road trip without a cemetery? This one is steeped in restless energy, haunted by a group of Confederate soldiers and the distant, lingering echo of cannon fire. Then it’s off to an amusement park where the rides aren’t the only source of unease. Shadows move where they shouldn’t, and several corners of the park are said to be inhabited by specters from its earliest days. For our final stop, we’ll visit an open-air museum—a quiet collection of relocated buildings, each with its own past . . . and, some say, lingering occupants. So, grab your snacks and settle in; it’s going to be a long, spooky trip.
