Holy Spirit is still HERE!Apostle Paul and Tongues: 1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV) "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” In 1 Corinthians 14:33, Paul gives a firm apostolic correction to the Corinthian church’s misuse of spiritual gifts, declaring that “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” The Greek word for “confusion” (akatastasia) points to disorder, chaos, and instability, which is exactly what was happening as people were speaking in tongues and prophesying out of turn, creating spiritual commotion instead of edification. Paul reminds them in verse 33 that true prophetic utterances do not override human will or decency, and true prophetic utterance is subject to order, judgment, and interpretation. God’s Spirit always brings peace (eirēnē), not just calm but God-given harmony, structure, and holiness. This standard of reverent order isn’t optional or cultural, it applies to all churches of the saints. If confusion reigns, the flesh or a counterfeit is at work, not the Holy Ghost. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there will be clarity, discipline, and sanctified power, not spiritual theatrics.ABOUT DR.
