  • In this episode of The National Security Alert, Roger Aronoff interviewed longtime journalist Claudia Rosett about some of the major topics of the day, including the death of Gorbachev, the one-year anniversary of the withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Russia-Ukraine war, threats posed by China, and the possible return to the JCPOA with Iran. Rosett worked many years for the Wall Street Journal, as Moscow bureau chief, a member of the editorial board, Editor of the editorial page of the Asian WSJ, as well as covering China, the UN, and North Korea. She spent about a dozen years as journalist-in-residence and is now with the Independent Women’s Forum.
