Episode 7: Roy Lopez – Lessons from the US Border

In this episode, we sit down with Roy Lopez, a former NAVY SEAL and retired Border Patrol K9 Handler and certified instructor. Roy shares his knowledge and experiences as one of the first handlers in the U.S. Border Patrol’s Search, Trauma and Rescue Team (BORSTAR) K9 Program. As the agency’s first certified trailing canine handler, he was able to record almost 2,000 people finds over his extensive career.
