It's great being a good and decent person but when you're not loved and appreciate it causes problems for yourself. It's a clear sign of immaturity but most people think because they're taking care of their business and doing the right thing that they're mature, when they're not. It's okay to mean well but good intentions don't mean anything to a person who doesn't care about you and only enjoying the benefits that you provide!
