Episode 65: Reflections and 2026 Plans

In our final podcast of 2025, we start by clearing up last episode’s “acre-gate” and confirming the size of the expanded female Asian habitat: once completed, our elephants will have approximately 280 acres to roam.

You haven’t had a vacation in all these yrs

I try to ty often for your selflessness and everything you do for the elephants. However, I’m a caregiver for my husband who has Alzheimers and I was getting burnt out until many people, and things I read expressed how important it is to take care of yourself. If you don’t do that then it’s proven the stress, etc can take you down and who’s left to take care of our responsibilities? Please do prioritize yourselves this year and get a very well deserved Vacation, not with work on the side.
