In this episode, Tina is joined by two guests. Hannah Chandler is a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a Reporting Radiographer at Northwick Park Hospital and Senior Lecturer at the University of West England. Carolina Rodrigues is a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Both Hannah and Carolina were previously London-wide practice educators in nuclear medicine for the London Imaging Academy.
Together, we explore nuclear medicine radiography – a specialty that uses radiopharmaceuticals to study how the body functions and, in some cases, to deliver treatments.
Discover what makes nuclear medicine unique, from handling radioactivity safely to supporting patients through complex diagnoses, and how advances in technology and therapies are shaping the future of the field. Hear Hannah and Carolina reflect on their varied career paths and why they see nuclear medicine as a hidden gem within Imaging.
