In this episode of Through the Forest, Jennifer Silva is joined by the Producer of her 2024 album Runaway , accomplished bassist and two-time GRAMMY Award winning Producer, Errick Lewis. Errick shares two haunting and emotional stories that have stayed with him since childhood: the spirit of a young child he saw in his family’s home in Compton, California and a ghostly apparition he encountered while touring the American South with a Gospel group, at just thirteen years old. Together, Jennifer and Errick explore how the echoes of history can linger in the present — and how confronting the past may help restless spirits find peace. The episode concludes with a stripped-down performance of Jennifer’s song Guillotine, featuring Errick Lewis and guitarist Jeff Berman.
