Episode 5: What Is Culture, Chinese Spy Balloon, and The Problem With Racializing Tragedies

On this episode of the Far Too Good World podcast, we hear a lot about the culture these days, but what actually is culture made up of? And can ours be fixed? It’s mildly ironic that we all care about the Chinese spy balloon and other objects have been floating through American airspace since we seem to be ignoring the fact that we carry around similar surveillance technology in our pockets every day. And finally, in the wake of the Tyre Nicholas incident, I’ll explain how racializing tragedies like this minimizes the actual tragic nature of what happened.
