Episode 423 -Dan Crenshaw - Insider trading, Public Threats, Silencing Speech, and Questioning Faith

Dan Crenshaw is the Republican Congressman from the 2nd District of Texas. Prior to his political career, he served as a United States Navy SEAL for 10 years. On his 3rd combat deployment, he was injured by an IED (improvised explosive device) which cost him his right eye and left him with substantial damage to his left. He was medically retired due to his injuries, and shortly thereafter began his career in politics.

Most recently Dan has been in the news for ACCUSATIONS of insider trading, drunken behavior in Mexico, threatening Tucker Carlson's life, and attempting to silence podcaster and former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan.

Crenshaw has been in office for 7 years. Maybe he’s not as full of shit as he seems to be. Still, I think 7 years is plenty of time to make your mark and get out of Congress or move up to be a senator for a term and leave. There has got to be term limits. Noticed that Dan seemed to skirt the notion of firing every elected official if they can’t pass a budget. That mindset of not wanting to do that is why we have the trust issues with congress. It’s supposed to be public office. Not a lifelong career.
