In one of their more scientifically strange podcasts, Carter and Mike discuss the alteration of weather and weather patterns by human action. Going back to the 1940’s, originally conceived by the military in an effort to gain an advantage in WWII, it was a hot topic for some time, consuming vast amounts of resources and scientific attention. While the overall focus has waned in recent years, a recent widespread news story of scientists test firing a cloud device over American soil in an attempt to block sunlight informs us that this topic is always in the background.
