Today Mike speaks with Jay Bailey, a US Army veteran, a former Boston area firefighter who holds degrees in Human Services, Psychology and is pursuing his Masters Degree in social work. Jay is the co-director of Hope Beyond The Badge and serves on the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Team. We spoke about Jay's rough childhood, his choice to join the military to stay out of jail, and his firefighting career which resulted in his struggling with psychological and stress-induced injuries, and a PTSD diagnosis.
