A quick google search of top health and wellness questions and you will find "How To Lose Weight Fast" as one of the top questions searched, and look I get it! I have been in the health and wellness industry for more than a decade and my mom asks me this every Thanksgiving..LOL! It usually sounds like "How do I lose this by my Birthday" (As she double fists her mommy pooch she's had for 30 plus years, sorry mom!). My response is usually, Well you have to eat better and exercise more. Which is definitely not what she wanted to hear! I am sure she would love for me to say clap 3 times, spin around, drink this tea, and put cucumbers on your eyes and viola you are skinty now (In my Tyler Perry's Madea voice), but it simply doesn't work like that.

I needed to hear this. I am on a journey to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes losing weight. I’m about 15 pounds from my goal weight (Took 1 year to take off 35lbs). I often wonder what I can do to get those last pounds off quickly. This episode put things into perspective for me helping me to realize if I want long term weight loss, I have to have a lifestyle that is flexible and sustainable.
