Mitchell set up in management consultancy 15 years ago, following a career which started learning the ropes (or should that be wires) in electrical engineering and grew to overseeing 3000 staff whilst managing a plc business. He shares his take on life-work balance (yes you read that right), the corridor metaphor for careers and we discuss why the fear of 'making a show of yourself' is holding the North East back.
