Whyyyyy
I am a rambly person myself, but this was pretty rambly. In addition though, it began with them talking about doing research, taking time off, and PANICKING because one of them had the Evil Monster Cold Covid in a house and the two-year-old wasn’t vaccinated. Yes, the two year old.
Let’s just remember that deaths for people under eighteen from Covid are so statistically small that it’s hard to write a percentage of them. For Omicron deaths in general are even more minute, but possibly 0 for the age range in question. 70% of Covid deaths were from people who were obese, I think an even higher percentage was age-related (the older, the worse; much worse for people over 70). Most covid deaths by far have been alongside other co-morbidities.
So unless the 2 year old has serious co-morbidities, or is obese, you will be risking her life more on the vaccine than on the disease. And now that she has had it, please do not be an idiot and get the vaccine.
The sickness isn’t fun. I had it. I have had lingering effects. I won’t deny it. But this was just sheer stupidity and ignorance. Children aren’t at risk the way adults are, but they are at a higher risk of developing myocarditis from the vaccine.
I came for True Crime and I’m annoyed that it opened with this right after a discussion of doing research.
