Agent Sasha investigates a mysterious "cognitive leak" in the northern sector, where memories are fading like dissolving ink. Her mission leads her to a damp gully and an ancient turtle named Mnemos, who is "composting" short-term memories using bioluminescent Soothe-Moss. While well-intentioned, this memory-softening creates a dangerous vulnerability among the local wildlife. Sasha must find a way to preserve the peace without erasing the vital lessons learned from life's "stings"
