Episode 26: Marsha P. Johnson

March 31st was International Transgender Day of Visibility, so we would like to celebrate the life of a very important person. Often called the “Rosa Parks of the Transgender Movement,” Marsha P. Johnson is one of the most famous figures of the 1970’s Gay Rights Movement. Marsha is remembered for her ever-present smile, her crown of flowers, and her kindness.
